#3-1 Shopping in London / ロンドン旅行記 #3-1

We went to some UK brand's boutiques. I'll introduce some of them.

今回は、ロンドン滞在中に見て回ったUKブランドを紹介します。

1. Lewis Leathers

 

 

This shop is the best shop that I wanted to go. I tried on some leather jackets, finally I bought Cyclone jacket which made by Lamb leather. I so excited because there were so many treasure...! I will wear this jacket even if I became old.

ロンドンのお買い物で一番行きたかったお店。レザージャケットを買いに...！本当はオーダーしようかとも思っていたけど、自分に合うものがあったので手に入れました。ラムレザーのライダースジャケットで、ジップ部分はベージュ、Lewisのロゴはかすれたビンテージイエロー。中はキルティングであったか〜♡一生もの！

 

2. Charlotte Olympia

 

This is luxury shoes brand is based on London, UK. Recently they have many store in world wide, also in Japan. We went to flagship store, there is a full of joyful shoes and playful bags, the spirit of Charlotte Olympia. I was not sure that I purchased Charlotte Olympia's shoes after go back to Japan. hehe ;D

ラグジュアリーシューズブランドのCharlotte Olympia。せっかくなのでショップを見に行きましたー。♪見に行った時は2016SSを展開していて、確かテーマが世界旅行とかワイルドアニマルに関連するコンセプトで、とってもポップで可愛い店内でした。まさか帰国して数ヶ月後、憧れのCharlotte Olympiaをはいている自分がいるとは想像もしていなかった。

 

  

When you buy CO's shoes, you can get polaroid sticker of your shoes. If you attach this to outside of shoes box, you can manage easily about your CO' shoes.

チェキ風のカードが付いてくるのがとっても可愛い。裏面がシールになっていて、箱の中にシューズをしまって外側に貼っておけばわかりやすく収納できるようになってます。収納するほどシャーロットの靴が欲しーい！笑

3. Agent Provocateur

 

 

This is luxury lingerie brand is founded by son of Vivienne Westwood. This brand is well known all over the world as "The World's Sexiest Lingerie Store". The staff uniform was sexy & feminine. There were full of fashionable lingerie for lady. I wanna go there again!

Vivienne Westwoodの息子Joe CorreとSerena Reesが1994年12月に創設したランジェリーブランド。（現在デザイナーは別の方のようです）「世界で最もセクシーなランジェリー」としていまや世界中に多くのファンがいます。イメージカラーはブラックとピンク・・・とのことで、お店に入る前のネオンから店内、そしてスタッフさんの制服までセクシー（だけど下品ではない）でした。写真を撮り忘れてしまったけど、制服はベビーピンクのミニワンピでした♡

 

I chose fragrance at AP. This very-red bottle is really me I felt.

Agent Provocateurでは真っ赤な瓶の香水にしました。（でへへ〜可愛い。）

4. Collectif

 

The clothes shop of Classic Pin Up girl style. I regret that we went there little late, so I couldn't see whole of shop but I could got this mermaid cardigan <3 Is it so lovely right?


50sな雰囲気を感じさせるピンナップガールスタイルのブランド、Collectif（コレクティフ）。Bricklaneエリアの近くにお店がありました。残念ながらギリギリに行ってしまってゆっくり見ることはできなかったんだけれど。なんせロンドンのお店は閉店時間がキッチリ。店内にお客さんがいても「もう閉めるよ」って結構アナウンスして回る。いいなー、定時主義！

Luckily I could get this lovery pink mermaid cardigan <3 (is named by me just now)

そんな時間のない中でもこのピンクのマーメイドカーディガンと出会えたことに感謝しなくてはー♪クロップド丈なのであえてUS6まで上げました。

#2 Brixton ~ David Bowie's hometown / ロンドン旅行記 #2

Brixton, where David Bowie was born in. He had lived few years with his family. Unfortunately he became a star in this January. Going to Brixton was big purpose for me on this trip.

ロンドンの中心部、ピカデリーサーカスから電車で約15分。David Bowieが生まれ育った街、Brixton（ブリクストン）。私にとって、ここに行くのが今回のロンドン旅行での大きな目的でした。Bowieは6歳になる頃まで両親とこの街に住んでいたようです。

At first, we went to V&A museum where the largest exhibition held on 2013 named "David Bowie is". I got post card set of him :) Are these cool right? However I really regret that I purchased just only one set.... I wanna buy one more when this exhibition will come to Japan in next January! We also enjoyed "UNDRESSED" exhibition that is lingerie history and vintage lingerie's.

Brixtonに向かう前に、ひとまずヴィクトリア＆アルバート美術館へ行きました。ここでは2013年に"David Bowie is"という大回顧展が開催されてたのです。ちょうど私たちが行った時にはvintageランジェリーを集めた"UNDRESSED"の期間中だったので、もちろんこちらも楽しみつつ、私はスタッフさんに聞いてBowieの回顧展時のグッズ、ポストカードセットを買えました！（こっちが本命。笑）V&Aのロゴが入った限定ものでね（興奮）。なんでもう１セット買わなかったのか、激しく後悔中。もったいなくて飾ったりできない貧乏性発動！！来年の１月になんと日本に来る（号泣）ので、そこで同じようなのゲットできるかな〜。

Then, we went to Brixton. I think Brixton is similar with Ueno or Okachimachi in Tokyo's atmosphere.
There is the big mural art of him. You can find it easily near by station. This is on the side of Morleys department store on Tunstall Road, the big art was drawn by Jimmy C who is Australian artist on 2013. I could see so many flowers from his fans although 5 months passed. And there are so many many messages of his fans came from all over the world on the wall. Actually, I met a man who came from US at this time.

美術館の後、その足でブリクストンへ向かいました。ブリクストンの街並みは東京でいう上野や御徒町のような雰囲気で、美容院に卸すようなカラー剤やシャンプー類を売っている問屋が並んでいたり。（相方は、日本にないパステルカラーのカラー剤を、仕入れか？というくらい大量に買ってた笑。でもすごく可愛かった！）
駅を降りてすぐの通りを向かい側へ渡ると、Morleysという百貨店の壁にAladdin Saneの時のBowieが描かれた大きな壁画が。オーストラリアの若手アーティストが描いたものなのだそう。そこには訃報から約半年経ったその日にも花束が添えられ、世界中のファンからと思われるメッセージで溢れていました。。実際に、私たちが行った時にもアメリカから来たというおじさまに出会いました。

Of course I couldn't help crying. I felt that if he became a star, he still alive in our hearts. His music is not dead.

壁画を前にして、ただただ涙が溢れました。たくさんの人の愛が溢れるメッセージで埋めつくされた壁画。ずっとBowieは心の中に生き続けていくんだと実感しました。

 

 

Some messages had already disappeared, so I re-wrote on it. (Actually I didn't have permanent marker but I got at the store in Brixton.)

すでにいくつかのメッセージは薄くなったり消えてしまっているものもあったので、取り急ぎ近くのお店で油性ペンを購入（店員さんに、あの壁に書けそうなペンある？！と相談した）。空いてるスペースにメッセージを残してきたよ。

For next time (will come in near future), I will bring a bouquet and this marker.

次に行く時は、このペンと一緒に花束も必ず持っていこうと思う。

#1 London Calling ~ Camden, Camden Passage / ロンドン旅行記 #1

Hello long time no see, I just want to report here about our first trip to London. I went to there with Orie who is my bestie. Also it was first time to go to Europe as well.

お久しぶりのブログ！5月末におりちゃんとイギリスはロンドンへ、旅行に行ってきました。一緒にDJもしていた相方です。2人にとって初のヨーロッパ。ブログ放置しすぎていたけど、備忘録のためにも書いとこうと思います。



We transferred the airline at Doha in Middle East, finally we landed on London. It totally took about 18 hours :( So long trip from Japan, isn't it? London was really dried and colder than Tokyo.

直行便ではなく中東のドーハで乗り換え、約7時間+11時間かけてやっとロンドンにたどり着きました。遠い...！やっと着いたら、空気が乾燥してて、寒かった〜！

We looked around vintage clothes shop in basis, however there is no difference between Tokyo's selected vintage store. Especially Camden area, I had expected but it have became sight-seeing area for tourist that is like Takeshita-dori in Harajuku. Just as for memory, we went to 'Poppies Fish and Chips'. There is juke box and staff's uniform is really cute so we're glad to go there.

古着を中心に見て回ったけど、東京のセレクト古着とそこまで価格帯が変わらなかった。Camden Areaはとくに期待してたけど原宿の竹下通りみたいな、観光客向けのエリアになってて少し残念。とりあえず記念に、ということでフィッシュ&チップスの有名店"Poppies"でどでかいフィッシュ＆チップスを食べました。笑 お店の中にジュークボックスがあったり内装や店員さんの制服が可愛くて、行ってよかった〜〜♡

The stores and houses in London are cute, they all have cute color walls. It is changed to new color periodically. I could catch the men who were painting the wall.

ロンドンはお店やお家の外壁がとってもかわいいんだけど、定期的に塗り替えられてるよう。塗り替えてる最中のおじさんたちをキャッチ。 なんか、塗り替えてるところも絵になる。ヨーロッパマジック！☆

By the way, we went to Camden Passage area, it was sooo nice place! There are some vintage record shop and book store, and long market. You can find some antique jewelry that is made by real gold or silver in good price. I bought silver ring with amethyst, it was only £5! The atmosphere of the street is nice too.

Camden Passageという、Angel Stationの近くにあるマーケットエリアにも行きました。道沿いに個人で出しているようなマーケットが並んでいて、アンティークのジュエリーやカトラリー、洋服、雑貨までいろんな品物がずらっと。掘り出し物を見つけるのが好きなタイプの人は楽しめそう。私はアメジストを埋め込んだシルバー925のリングを5ポンドでゲットしました〜！下の写真は、マーケットの準備をするかわいいおばあちゃま。でもアンティークの話になるととっても熱かったです。笑

I got the white shirt in this market! The embroidery is nice, right?

刺繍がかわいいブラウスをマーケットにてゲット。デニムと合わせたりしたいな。

 

There is a good vintage clothes shop named "CLOUD CUCKOO LAND". I got a white skirt that is made by cotton :) I wanna wear it in summer!

マーケットの近くにはvintage shopもありました。CLOUD CUCKOO LANDっていう外観もかわいいお店。ハイウエストの真っ白なコットンスカートを買いました。店員さんもフレンドリーで素敵なお店でした♪

とりあえず次へ続く！（長くなりそう〜。。。
